Paul M. Sterczala, CPA
Paul M. Sterczala is a Tax Principal with DHL&S. In this role, he is responsible for providing tax services to clients in a variety of industries. Paul has extensive experience assisting family-owned and entrepreneurial businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and partnerships. With more than 40 years of experience, he specializes in tax issues related to acquiring and transferring real estate. His expertise also includes entity reorganization, bankruptcy, and debt restructuring. In addition, Paul has been involved in all facets of real estate taxation, including development, construction, financing, and operations.
Paul has authored numerous articles on tax planning, executive compensation, retirement planning, and real estate taxation. He has also conducted local and national training programs and seminars. Paul is actively involved with several community organizations and serves on the Board of Directors and as the Treasurer for Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo.
Paul is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut and a Master of Science degree in taxation from the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut.
