Ronald A. LaMorte, CPA Managing Principal ronl@dhls.com Ronald A. LaMorte is also a practice principal with responsibilities for both publicly held and private companies. He has varied industry experience including banks, health care facilities, mortgage bankers, municipalities, supermarket chains, construction companies and manufacturers including large machine tools, industrial valves, firearms, commercial thermostats and controls, beverages, electronic devices, utilities and oil exploration. For several years, Mr. LaMorte was the Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded company. Mr. LaMorte's practical experience in industry, combined with his public accounting experience, has made him an expert in treasury and controllership functions, financial management, long-range planning, budgeting, long and short-term financing, systems implementation and financial controls. His achievements have resulted in significant contributions to industry and have made Mr. LaMorte a recognized professional in his field. Mr. LaMorte is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He was an Adjunct Associate Professor of Accounting and taught in various accounting programs both locally and nationally. He is also a speaker on financing and related subjects. Mr. LaMorte serves on the Board of Directors of various civic organizations and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
